Fuschia Zulu
Artwork for an exhibition raising money for the documentary, "To Skin a Cat". The film highlights the illegal trade in leopard skins within the Shembe Church in South Africa. These furs are are considered symbols of masculinity by members of this church and this is a contributing factor in the decimation of the species. Through their efforts, the makers of the film have made some headway changing perceptions and have successfully introduced imitation furs as an alternative to the church. www.toskinacat.org
